These forces are produced by the plane frame forces generated from the analytical model as well as forces induced from the torsional stiffness of the superstructure coupled the out of plane stiffness of the pier frame. The forces are relative to the pier axis. The Shear column shows the top and bottom column horizontal shear measured perpendicular to the pier centerline. The axial force shows the top and bottom axial force. The Moment column shows the top and bottom column longitudinal moment measured about the pier centerline.
